A Poignant Farewell

Baba stayed with us for the past week, over the Thanksgiving holiday. At the end of her visit, we drove her to the airport. After we exchanged hugs and got back in the car, we noticed that Grafton clearly was sad and in fact even a bit teary-eyed. Since Grafton usually says his farewells with little fanfare or emotion, we were pleasantly surprised to see this more emotional reaction from our child.
